Travel & Booking Terms
How our quotes and bookings work, and what you should know about pricing before you book.

About these terms
These terms apply when you request a quote or make a booking through Upgrade Travel. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Please read the pricing section closely, because travel pricing works differently from what many people expect.
How pricing really works
Here is the most important thing to understand: the prices you see on this website are examples, not live quotes. Air and travel pricing changes all the time, sometimes several times a day, and the price for any given trip depends on a lot of moving parts.
What you actually pay depends on things like:
- Your exact route, including which airports you fly from and to
- Your travel dates and the time of year, since some days and seasons cost far more than others
- How many people are traveling
- The cabin you choose, whether first, business, or premium economy
- How far in advance you book
- Airline availability and which fare classes are open at that moment
- Taxes, carrier fees, and any current airline promotions
A "from" price on our destinations or home page shows the kind of fare we have found for that route at a point in time. It is not a promise that your trip will cost that amount. The only firm price is the written quote we prepare after we look at your specific trip.
Quotes
When you send us your trip, we research it and reply with a written quote and a real price. Because fares move quickly, a quote is only valid for a short time, and we will tell you how long. If you come back later, we may need to re-check the price before you book.
Flexibility gets the best price
The more flexible you can be, the more room we have to find a great fare. Shifting your dates by a day or two, being open about which airport you use, or avoiding the busiest travel periods can make a real difference. If price matters most to you, tell us where you are flexible and we will work the angles to get you the best deal we can.
Making a booking
A booking is only confirmed once you approve the quote, we issue the tickets or confirmations, and payment has been processed. Until then, nothing is held and the price can still change. Once a booking is confirmed, it becomes subject to the airline's or supplier's rules.
Payment
We will tell you the amount due and how to pay before anything is booked. Depending on the fare, payment may be due in full at the time of booking. We will arrange a secure way to pay, and we will never ask you to send full card details by plain email.
Our role
We are a travel agency, which means we find and arrange your travel with airlines, hotels, cruise lines, and other suppliers. They are the ones who operate the flights, rooms, and services. Each of them has its own terms and conditions, and those apply to your trip alongside ours.
Changes, cancellations, and refunds
Many premium and discounted fares come with strict rules. Some cannot be changed, and some are non-refundable. Before you book, we will tell you the rules that apply to your specific fare so there are no surprises. After booking, any change, cancellation, or refund follows the airline's or supplier's policy, which we do not control. Any service fee we charge for arranging your trip may be non-refundable.
Passports, visas, and documents
It is your responsibility to make sure every traveler has a valid passport, any required visas, and any health documents needed for the trip. We are happy to point you in the right direction, but we cannot be responsible for documents that are missing or out of date, and airlines will deny boarding without them.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance for every trip. It can protect you against the cost of cancellations, delays, medical issues, and other surprises that are out of everyone's control.
Things outside our control
We cannot be responsible for delays, schedule changes, cancellations, or other disruptions caused by airlines, suppliers, weather, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our job is to arrange your travel and to help you sort things out if they go sideways.
